With rounds of 22 and 24, junior Noah Hermel was the hot shot in week three of Clipper trap.

The average (mean) score among the 42 participating last Wednesday at the Caribou Gun Club was 30 and a third, almost the same as a week ago. The weather conditions were ideal for high scores.

With a 43, the same result he had a week ago, Jake Mueller was next in line. Chase Bock, Kaden Schmidt, Nick Simonette and Gabe Sullivan all grounded 42 targets.

Gauge Bock’s 41 represented an 11-point improvement from a week ago. Max Esser splattered 30 clays.

A bullseye behind breaking into the 40s, seventh Tony Hollerich scored 39 for the third time this year, but he did a lot better than last week, boosting his total by 10. Also with 39s were Judd Gibbs and Blake Stocker.

Dylan Zimmerman notched a 37. Seventh grader Urijah Hoheisel improved his score from last week by nine for a 36. It was his best effort this year. Also with a 36 was Colton Tousley.

Seventh grader Nolan Schlaak had the biggest improvement from last week: up 13 for a 35. John Ritchie also shot a 35 as did Adam Seeman.

Aiden Giese and Jeremy Miller each broke up 34 saucers.

Reid Knish, Derek Miller and Cole Stocker all recorded a 33. Austin Anderley shot a 31, and Brunson Gibbs scored a 30.

Zayden Linder recorded a 29, Marshall Heldberg scored a 28, and Charlie Maxfield scored a 27. Blake Gibbs shot a 26 as did Zander Hoechst.

With a 23, Kayla Bauer had the best score for the girls. Abigail Osness logged a 21. Blasting apart 20 discs, Olivia Reinhardt doubled her score from last week for the largest percentage improvement. 

Steve Giebel posted a 17 as did Tyler Smith and Kendra Zimmerman. Deandra Doerr shot a 16 as did Brayden Seeman. Oliver Stark hit 15 targets. Carter Kern improved slightly from seven days prior for a 14. Lucas Kortuem also put up a 14.
