team

Instead of a seventh-grade team and an eighth-grade team, the junior high girls played as one for all their games this spring, whether a single outing or a double header.

With just five eighth graders and one seventh grader, the team needed help from the sixth-grade ranks, so seven moved up.

But the Clippers won most of their games, and, behind the arms of seventh grader Brooklyn Bosse and sixth grader Addison Sandhurst, especially their second games.

The team includes, front row, L-R, Hadley Thompson, Kylie Wobbrock, Sandhurst, Lily McMillen, Annistyn Dauk and Valentina Rohlfing (eighth). Back row: coach Kaylie Karels, Kiya Sohn (eighth), Ava Kluntz (eighth), Jocelyn Kortuem (eighth), Bosse, Gretchen Heldberg, Cecelia Gair (eighth), Harley Samuelson and coach Harley Connor.  Missing is Kenzie Kortuem.

Bosse Brooklyn Bosse was the only seventh grader on the team, and she brought a lot to the circle.
