Students get off bus

With smiles and misty eyes too, for just shy of 700 K-12 students, this week was the end of the halcyon days of summer as classes began.

High school classes started on Tuesday. After a couple of days for orientations, Thursday was the first day of school for elementary students.  

While the senior class has 47 students, four more than the graduates last spring, 54 entered kindergarten, six less than the first-grade class this year.
