Kids in costumes

Elementary students enjoyed a costume dance party in the new gym to close out the school day on Halloween. In the evening, there was a Trunk or Treat celebration at Our Savior’s Lutheran for everyone.

Kids and staff paraded in their costumes and followed moves on the jumbotron during the dance party.

A prelude to trick or treating, Trunk or Treat, sponsored by Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and Community Education, is usually held in the church parking lot, but rain forced the event inside the church hall.

From 5 – 7 p.m., kids could play games for prizes, get candy from one of the tables and grab a hotdog meal.

The sky cleared at about 5:30, making for a comfortable night of trick or treating.
