Starting their season on a high note, the C-Squad boys rolled over visiting Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons 42-19 on Monday.
For the first two of 21 points he would have on the night, Miles Tomaszewski took the jump ball down to the baseline and in for a basket, and the Clippers never trailed from there.
With a Tomaszewski drive, a pair of Garrett Heldberg free shots, a Carsyn Ryg spin for a bucket on a Heldberg assist, the Clippers were in front 10-4.
From there, Tomaszewski scored on a layup, Jack Anderson hit a jumper from the paint, Heldberg took an Aiden Giese handoff in for a basket, Kiptyn Coon scored from under the hoop, and Heldberg punctuated the half with a layup to double up the Clippers over the Knights 20-10
With the Clippers keeping their foot on the gas pedal, Tomaszewski bagged a three to start the second frame. The Knights managed a layup, but Coon scored again from inside to start a 11-point run that continued with three baskets from the floor and a three off the hands of Tomaszewski to put the Clippers comfortably in front 37-14.
Down the stretch, Wyatt Krenik looped a three from the corner and Giese scored from inside just in front of the buzzer to get in the books.
Heldberg had eight points in one half played. Coon added four points, Krenik had three points, and Anderson, Giese and Ryg each chipped in a basket.
The Clippers hit a trio of threes and made three of seven foul shots. The Knights put in one three and made none of their four free shots.
The C-Squad boys will look for another win today (Friday) when they travel to Mankato to take on Loyola.
