Seven acts, 22 delightful holiday songs, over 375 K-6 children’s voices in all their glory.
Directed by elementary music teacher Lacee Johnson, the Elementary Christmas Concert will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 1:00 p.m. in the new gym.
Each year the most attended event in Cleveland, the concert will include choreography, instruments and soloists.
As a bonus, Holiday Jazz, directed by Erik Hermanson, will perform between sets.
Songs, which the students have been practicing since October, range from traditional, like “Carol of the Bells,” to more modern, like “Mele Kalikamaka” (Hawaiian Christmas) to silly, like “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.”
A free-will donation at the entrance will help support the elementary music program.
