Upping their record to 7-2, the C-boys easily downed visiting Madelia 53-26 on Tuesday.
With Jack Mons and Miles Tomaszewski on a scoring frenzy, the Clippers got off to a 25-4 start. They led 36-16 at the break
Totaling 16 points, seven buckets and a pair of free shots, Mons led all scorers. With two baskets from behind the arc in mix, the only threes for the Clippers, Tomaszewski contributed a dozen points. Carsyn Ryg had six points, all from the foul line in the first half. Luke Heldberg added five points. Kiptyn Coon, Zander Linder and Aiden Giese each had four points. Tony Hollerich chipped in a bucket.
The Clippers were 11 of 17 from the foul line. The Blackhawks made one three and one of four foul shots.
The Clippers travel to Nicollet tonight (Thursday). They beat the Raiders earlier in the season.
