Continuing to roll, the C boys downed host Nicollet 43-27 on Thursday.
Deadlocked with the Raiders 10-10, the Clippers went on a 13-point run. It started with a pair of Jack Mons free baskets, featured a pair of buckets from both Kiptyn Coon and Carsyn Ryg and finished with a Miles Tomaszewski three.
The Clippers never looked backwards from there and led 27-17 at the break.
As the Clippers outscored the Raiders 15-10 in the second half, Tomaszewski dropped in a two and a three-point bucket to lead his team a dozen total points.
Mons had eight points, six of them foul baskets. Ryg also had eight points. Coon and Tony Hollerich each added five points. Luke Heldberg had four points.
The Clippers made two baskets from three-point land and 12 of 25 free throws. Nicollet made four baskets from behind the arc ad one of eight free throws.
The C Clippers, now 8-2, return to action on Tuesday when they host Mankato Loyola. The Clippers beat the Crusaders early in the season.
