Last summer, 14 Clippers committed to a fun and competitive program to improve their basketball fundamentals.
They are, from left to right: Taylor Wolf (grade 10), Paxton Kluntz (grade 5), Abel Hastings (grade 6), Lenny Archer (grade 2), Charlie Mons (grade 6), Brayden Schmidt (grade 4), Keegan Karels (grade 5), Brodey Rutz (grade 4), Blake Christensen (grade 6), Jett Hastings (grade 3), Griffin Rutz (grade 6) and Max Miller (grade 4). Missing from the photo are Tyler Smith (grade 7) and Evan Quast (grade 1).
The group either spent 1500 minutes working on ball handing drills, including dribbling, passing and shooting, or took 10,000 shots at game speed.
For their efforts, they received a certificate and Clipper basketball and were recognized at halftime at the varsity boys game on Monday.
