Jackson Meyer and Emmie Dittmar

Pushed forward a season and rebranded accordingly, Snow Week—a CHS February tradition—metamorphosed this year into Spring Fling.

The week-long event, organized by the Student Council, kicked off Monday morning with a coronation in the school auditorium.

Crowned queen was senior Emmie Dittmar while Jackson Meyer, a junior, will reign over the week as king (both above).

Crowned as baroness was sophomore Sam Wondra while her classmate Henry Strobel was selected as baron.

Crowned princess was eighth grader Savannah Meyer while the prince chosen was Blake Lyons.

MacKenzie Smith, Samantha Baker and Dacota Sichmeller were also vying for princess while Gavin Karels, Cooper Arnold and Bode Bartell were the remainder of the prince candidates.

Mariah McCabe, Laci Hollerich and Kaylee Karels were the other baroness candidates while Brady Bostic, Jacob Rohlfing and Jorden Rossow were in the running for prince.

Serena Williams, Taylin Gosch and Madisyn Steen were also queen candidates while Tyler Erickson, Cade Kriah and Cameron Seely were contending for king.

Student Council members Sarena Remiger and Kyra McCarthy were the emcees.

Dress-up days for the week are Tourist and Hawaiian Day today, Tie Dye on Tuesday, Western on Wednesday, Class Color on Thursday and College Gear on Friday.

Male candidates were, from L-R, Bode Bartell, Brady Bostic, Cooper Arnold, Tyler Erickson, Cameron Seely, Henry Strobel, Jackson Meyer, Blake Lyons, Jacob Rohlfing, Jorden Rossow, Cade Kriah and Gavin Karels.

Emmie Dittmar was surprised to be crowned as queen. Beside her are candidates Taylin Gosch and Serena Williams.
