Hitting 46 of 50 targets, junior Jack Mertens (above) led the Clipper trap team in its final competition on Wednesday at the Caribou Gun Club.
Jackson Gibbs shot a 43 while Jake Anderley and Reid Knish each shot 42s.
Each upping their score by nine, senior Ben Griffiths, with a 38, and sixth grader Aiden Domras, with a 25, had the biggest improvements from last week.
“We had a great season, and we are proud of how all the kids did, said head coach Jack Zimmerman. “We are really proud of how great this group of kids is overall.”

Next week the trap team will present season awards and do a fun shoot. The Clippers will also be preparing for next month's state meet in Alexandria.
