While they led 20-19 at the break, the B boys, as they morphed into the C boys, couldn’t hang on in the second half and lost 38-28 to host Madelia on Monday.
Gabe Sullivan had five points and Blake Lyons had two points before checking out of the game at halftime. Kyle Connor (on the jump shot above) led the effort with eight points. Ethan Fuller scored six points all in the first half. Kale Kelley had five points. Alex Johnson had two points.
The Clippers made 10 of 23 free throws and no three pointers. The Blackhawks put in one three and were 11 of 21 in free shots.
The B boys return to action on Thursday when they take on host Mankato Loyola.
