With a three pointer at the 8:22 mark, the visiting Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial broke a 10-10 tie and never looked back in route to a 63-33 win over the Clipper B boys on Tuesday.

It was the first of a dozen threes the Knights would have on the night.

Ethan Fuller scored first for the Clippers. Blake Lyons scored 14 points in the first half before he and Gabe Sullivan exited. The Clippers trailed 36-22 at the break.

Demonstrating some nifty basketball moves, Kyle Connor (above) had six points, all in the second half. Kale Kelley had four points in the first half and made two free shots in the second half for six points. Fuller had four points, all in the first half. Jaden Miller put in a three in the second half.

Lyons had the Clippers’ only other three. The Clippers were nine of 14 in free-throw shooting. The Knights were three of 10 from the foul line.

Alex Johnson missed the game due to an injury.

The B boys return to action next Tuesday when they travel to St. Clair.
