Closing out their season, the B girls fell to visiting St. Clair 63-11 on Thursday.
Lacey McCabe put in a free throw for the first Clipper score.
The rest of the Clipper baskets in the first half were few and far between. McCabe made three more free throws, her sister Mariah McCabe put in a bucket from behind the arc, and Micah Peterson (above) hit a two-pointer.
St. Clair led 29-8 at the half.
After the Cyclones put in a pair of baskets to start the second half, Peterson took an Addi Holden assist in for a bucket.
Midway through the frame, junior high players Haddie Jobe, Delaney Thompson and Kiera Schipper got some play time. A Schipper free throw was the only other point for the Clippers in the second half.
Later, teammates Samantha Baker, Kaitlyn Flowers and Taylor McCabe platooned in.
The Clippers made four of eight free shots. St. Clair made six three pointers and were five for eight from the foul line.
